Library Director – Lauren Lowery

Lauren Lowery became our Library Director in September of 2019. She holds dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is currently working towards her Master’s in Library Science through Clarion University of Pennsylvania’s online program, with a concentration in Local & Archival Studies. Her background in the Fine Arts (Photography and Printmaking), Non-Profit management, and in Customer Service has given her a very well-rounded skill set and unique perspective on both books and libraries. To her, libraries have always been a safe space to both discover and dream, and she is passionate about continuing to make that safe space available to everyone in the community of Conneautville.

Lauren is originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh called Monaca, PA. She currently lives in Edinboro with her partner Douglas Eberhardt, who teaches Printmaking at the University. In what free time they have they enjoy camping, bicycling, and spending time with their friends. They have a black Manx cat named Branwen.
