Stone Memorial Library is currently CLOSED to the public, effective Saturday, March 14, 2020. We hope to reopen on March 30, 2020, but this is subject to change as the evolution of the situation requires.
No library programming will occur during this closure. We are currently looking into alternative ways to offer services and programming alternatives to our community. We are, however, continuing to highlight the need for social isolation and limited interpersonal contact during this time to help curb the spread of this virus.
If any specific or urgent library needs do arise, or if you have any questions or suggestions for us, please do feel free to contact us via email - email@example.com - or via phone - 814-587-2142. We will do our best to respond to these inquiries in a timely manner.
The library has an extensive collection of online resources, which you can find the links to on the left hand side of this page. In light of the situation, we have created a document available on the web that will be updated on a regular basis with links to and information about our online resources as well as other online resources that provide free access to educational and informational resources. That document can be found HERE.
If you have any items currently checked out from our library, you may choose to return them to our book drop, but we do ask that you please hold onto those items and return them once we reopen. We will be waiving all overdue fines incurred during this period.
Thank you for your patience, trust, and understanding.
